Amtrak

Amtrak's Southwest Chief runs daily between Los Angeles and Chicago and stops twice a day in Trinidad, CO. The Amtrak departs departs to the east (towards La Junta, CO) at approximately 5:49 PM every day and departs to the west (towards Raton, NM) at approximately 9:50 AM every day. Trinidad's Amtrak station is located at 110 Pine Street and is within walking distance to the Colorado Visitor's Center (where the Trinidad Trolley departs from 10 AM to 2 PM), Cimino Park, Trinidad's Riverwalk Trail, downtown shops, art galleries,  museums and restaurants.  For a complete list of attractions in Trinidad, visit http://www.historictrinidad.com/tourism.html.  For transit service between the hours of 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM, please call the South Central Council of Governments Rideline at 719-845-1127.  For more information about this transit service, please click here.
